As the bell tolls the approach of dusk, it is then that the night comes alive.  The filt of the city plagues the streets, the minds of its dwellers and the depths of the unknown.  Behind all the sirens and the premise of the rat race unfolds another world of conflict.  For centuries sworn enemies have been at war, never seen by human eyes, their rage has escalated to heights unknown to humankind.  Vampires and Lycans, since the brink of time, have pledged their existence for the termination of the other. 

The Gothic Metropolis is a city that has embraced the alternative lifestyle and the inbred yuppie society.  The strength of commerce, blackmarket smuggling and sexual deviances seem to take precedents over the law and order that seems to have fallen to the wayside.  Controlling the majority of the upper class of the Metropolis, the Vampires, a secretive clan of modern, aristocratic sophisticates, maintain their lifestyle of leisure by investing in the human population.  Their strength has a strong hold upon that of the Gothic Metropolis yuppie population. 

From the reaches of high society towards the depths of an underworld abyss, the Lycans, a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city's underbelly and dock regions find themselves in the centre of the alternative gothic scene.  The Lycan's power grips the low-life humans that find themselves addicted to the drugs, violence, sex and rave scene provided and controlled by the Lycans.  Prostitution rings, drug lords, gangland and the underground rave scenes are the playground and bloodstream for the Lycans.

The balance of power wavers between the two underworld forces, Vampire and Lycan, their creation, that of a lethal virus that infected their shared ancestor, hangs in the balance.  Shall the Vampires prove to be too dominating or shall the Lycan overcome with their superior strength?  Gothic Metropolis remains as the battleground for these enemies of centuries old, as the human race unknowing becomes oppressed and forced to the brink of extinction.   Vampire and Lycan - The Underworld of The Gothic Metropolis awaits the victor!
